I Like Movies is Chandler Levack’s debut feature film which premiered at TIFF 2022.
The film follows Lawrence Kweller, a socially inept 17-year old cinephile, who gets a job at a video store, where he forms a complicated friendship with his older female manager.

Chandler Levack has been a long time collaborator with colourist Zachary Cox. This was their first feature film working together after numerous shorts and music videos.
Working alongside cinematographer Rico Moran, they crafted a retro look inspired by indie films of the early 2000’s.
The film has been a huge indie success, playing theatres and now streaming on Netflix.
