Roborace is motorsport with a twist: real race cars driven by artificial intelligence.

Victory Social Club partnered with Rubber Pixel, Roborace, and Acronym to create an immersive VR experience that bridges the world of autonomous racing with a human audience. The project speculates on the future of motorsport through a fully embodied simulation that combines motion, visuals, and sound.
Participants ride atop a Robocar mounted on a D-BOX platform, which responds in real time to the simulation’s movement. A 360° VR environment, delivered through a high-end headset and synchronized with an articulating sled, places riders directly inside the race. A large directional fan adds physical wind as the car accelerates, heightening the sense of speed and immersion.
Victory Social Club led the design, 3D animation, and VR production for the experience. This included the overall ride concept, interactive VR development, D-BOX haptic integration, physical velocity feedback via airflow, and a generative spatial soundtrack that completed the immersive audio environment.
The experience is topped off with a massive fan that blows in the faces of the racers as the car accelerates; enhancing the visceral connection of the haptic VR experience.
Victory Social Club was responsible for design, 3D animation, and VR production for Roborace VR. Interactive development included the VR ride experience design & integration, D-Box integration for haptic simulation, the integration of a physical fan for velocity feedback, and a generative spatial soundtrack design for an immersive audio experience.
